Master of Science in Engineering Design and Innovation (MS-EDI)
I learned how to think in new ways and to find real problems that need solving.

The Master of Science in Engineering Design and Innovation is a one or two year program intended for recent engineering graduates seeking to lead the design of future innovative products, services, and technologies.
EDI introduces engineers to design thinking, a process of user observation, visualization, rapid prototyping, and iteration. Our students learn how to attack design problems with a human-centered approach, in order to solve the needs of real people.
EDI attracts engineers who like to create new things, who are comfortable with problems that are hard to pin down, and who care about culture and contemporary context. The coursework focuses heavily on hands-on, team-based projects.
EDI graduates will be prepared to collaborate on, and lead, cross-functional development teams to create innovative and effective products and services.
