Congratulations to the Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) Wastewater Design team for taking first place in the Central States Water Environment Association's annual student design competition! The team includes:

The team competed on April 3rd in Madison, WI. They will receive scholarships to go on to the national competition in Dallas, TX in October. The Wastewater Design project was one of the projects resulting from n ESW scoping trip to Panama in December 2005. The Wastewater Design team began working on the project in within the IDEA 298 Multidisciplinary Design Projects course in winter quarter 2006. We are proud of their achievement.
