June 12, 2009 · On May 19, Tom Kelley dropped into the graduate-level course DSGN 401-3: Human-Centered Design Studio 3. The 15 students in the class had the exciting opportunity to discuss their current design projects with the world-renowned business leader and author. Kelley also offered some words of wisdom to the students on how to tell a compelling story about their design concepts in an upcoming presentation.

DSGN 401-3 is co-taught by Liz Gerber and Don Norman, and teaches students how to apply the human-centered design process to the design of services and experiences. The course is part of the core sequence for the Engineering Design and Innovation (EDI) program at the Segal Design Institute.
